We should do it right after Xmas, I know some of us will get some cash in our stockings.

go boxed, i read an article somewhere, and the boxed supposedly flex less, and at 170$ for a set of UMI's from the GP, you cant go wrong

As for the GP, I was think about getting a Torque Arm before the end of the year (since everything is 10% off until then), but if it looks like there is enough for a GP I will wait until January for the 15%!

Would the 15% off be in addition of the current 10% off deal? (for a total of 25% off?)
Also, what would be the shipping cost? Currently I can get the SFCs on eBay from UMI for $219.50 shipped ($180+$39.50s/h). At $170 each for the SFC through the group purchase, the shipping would have to be less than $49.50 to beat that.

i cant see why it would be different? the 15% would not be on top of the 10%, 10% sale is over at end of december i believe

Put me down for SFC'S. Just bought another IROC-Z. 1986 with 22000 miles on it. It is pristine. Badman
Tentatively in for SFC's & wonderbar. Is there a dollar amount at which we could get a better discount? It might be worthwhile for both UMI and us to ask them about that, "the best price ever" will draw more people in. I hosted an Accel (SR's, intakes, etc) GP a few years ago that resulted in the largest single order ever placed with them, this forum can generate huge sales if the prices are right.

Do yo uneed 20-30 people to buy the same thing to get this GP deal or can it just be 30 people buying at least something from them? I want the wonderbar and possibly the relocation brackets if I cant get the welded ones off my 4th gen rear w/o mutulating them.

Only thing that I'm not sure about is that the 15% does not seem like enough of a discount to warrant waiting another month for the group purchase rather than making the purchases now through eBay. Why? Because shipping is more expensive when you buy from them through their website than when you buy through their eBay auctions. For example:
The Subframe connectors:
UMIPerformance.com price: $179.99 --- Shipping cost: $62.34
UMIPerformance.com Total: $242.33
eBay UMIPerformance price: $179.99 --- Shipping cost: $39.50
eBay UMIPerformance Total: $219.49
Price Difference with Shipping included: $22.84
$169.99 (15% off Price) with $62.34 shipping cost: $232.33
The group purchase price would still be $12.83 higher than the current price from UMI through eBay.
UMIPerformance would need to have a 21.4% Off Sale at their site or this group purchase to match the prices available right now from them through eBay.
Thats why I previously asked if the 15% would be in addition to the 10% for a total of 25%.
I'm still in for the wonderbar anyway.
Note: The shipping prices I mentioned above are to my location in Southern California. If you live closer to UMI's headquarters, your shipping will be less, but the eBay shipping will probably be lower than the UMI site anyway.

Well I would like to see something to be done/asked about shipping if that is the going rate for them on e-bay.

If I was the 20th person, then I wouldn't throw my hat into the ring cause I'll tell you up front I don't know what "extra" cash I'll have in a few weeks....
....but since you DO have over 20, I'd be interested. I'll check back in a couple of weeks to see what's up!

Hmm I was looking into this more and I see that the online store prices are 9% cheaper then the website
All well 15% is still better then 9% on already affortable product.

good point, but i wouldn't beable to afford these untel after the 1st anyways. the price is good enough for me. i love bringing my car to the track so i need SFC really bad.
