For the guys who have received their order, were you sent a tracking number or an email. Ryan sent me an update after I had inquired and said they would be shipped Tues or Wed. I logged in and it still says the same message Payment complete and will ship in 3-5 days. I would assume when it goes out they would let you know one way or another. Hopefully tomorrow, they will ship. It wouldn't be bad but my car is down and it is my only vehicle right now. I found out they a-arms were bad after I had removed the ball joints to replce the bushings and this group purchase came up at the right time so I jumped on it. I also wonder if there is some employment changes because when I emailed to ask for an update from debra@umiperformance.com, Ryan replied a couple of days later. I sent back a reply and thanked for the group purchase etc. I got a response that email was no longer working and to contact somebody else (don't remember who), so I just forwarded the email to Ryan and haven't heard back.

 

a lot of people say that and ive yet to see it. Ive had mine in for a while now, no problems.

The firewall lip that it bolts to is rather thin, and i dont see how it would flex enough to cause windshield issues. There is almost 5" from where it bolts on to the windshield anyway, the cowl vent is there.

SFC are deffenetly worth getting a differnt y pipe the differance is night and day

 

I dunno about all that, yes they are a great SFC, but come on. Do you really think they are that much better than Spohn's or Alston's that you are willing to change you exhuast system just to have UMI's SFCs? Especially when there are other SFCs that are great and that will work with the y pipe you already have.

Has anybody after lopezisgod received their order notice yet?? I was just wondering where they are at concerning the group order. I still haven't received anything yet even though I was told it would ship out Tues or Wed last week.

yes i know what you mean about ups... my box was pretty bad.. some scratchs on the subframebraces.. but its not a show car.. and its under a car so idc..

but if i could make a sugestion to umi... thicker boxes...

 

if the boxes are that bad i would contact UPS and give them hell. There is no reason for a package to be that badly damaged, obviously caused by pure ignorance and complete lack of care on UPS's behalf. UMI's packaging is the best ive ever seen and if UPS is breaking that, there is really a problem.

 

Damn, I just missed out on this. Is there going to be another sale or GP any time soon? All I am looking for is an on car adjustable PHB and adjustable LCAs. I had that exact setup but sold them with my last car and didn't know I was getting another fbody. Now that I am, I need another set. The last set was GREAT quality. PLEASE tell me there will be another sale soon and you have atleast one order ready to be placed.

PLEASE understand there is NO set ship date on the strut tower brace at this time. This item is NEW and in production. Shipping should be approx. 2-3 weeks from the time the GP ends. IF you feel you can not wait on this PLEASE do not order it. I am sorry to be harsh, I am stressing this because I pre-sold one already and it appears they are complaining on our ship time already...

It would appear that the strut tower brace is close to being done. I was browsing their website a few weeks ago and the Strut Tower bar had a listing below it that said "Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping" While looking at the site today that notation is gone. So maybe they are in production and we will start to see them in a week or two.

Any updates on the STB?

 

Might take a few more days/weeks I guess. New items are kinda long to put in "final" production. I waited a long time for my a-arms, so this wait isnt really surprising me. I really hope Ryan is working on a k-member @ the same time. :lurk

 

STB's.....the website still says "allow 2-3 weeks".

I'll get one during the next GP discount. Looks VERY nice.

2 thumbs up for the A arms. They work increadibly well.

 

Ordered my STB on 05-07. Still waiting.

 

Ordered mine 4/28 and was charged early.....they called me and said they accidentally made me pay for it now but I said thats fine just send it. I actually called them last week and they said I should get it the end of this week.......take the info lightly...

 

Sent them a e-mail on the 23rd and here is the reply:The strut tower braces are being finished up now and are scheduled for shipment in the very near future. We have your information for a tracking # once it ships.

No, I'm still waiting... I really want to know when they're going to release the K-member they've been working on. Someone please let me know if you hear anything.

 

Got an e-mail today from Ryan today and he says the STB's are currently in production. Did not give a completion date. So as he says, "thanks for being patient".

 

Kool stuff. Hope a date is released soon. Itching to get this and put it on the car.

 

Strut tower braces are finished! They are headed to the weld shop now.. we are welded one more up just to triple check fitment and make sure there is no last minute changes. They will be shipping shortly.
