I agree.....I am ready to order now. Lets get this order going. Yeah I would like to get this STB on the car soon...whats the price gonna be?
Hello Everyone,
Everything looks great and we will be running the GP
I am out of the office until Monday morning. We are at the Spring Carlisle show is PA all weekend... its the biggest swap meet on the East Coast. If anyone is attending please stop by and see us in the Manufacture Midway!
I will begin the GP on Monday. So please hang in there until then, I would really appreciate it. I will also get the lower A-Arms and STB on the site so they can be ordered there was well.
Here is a few pictures of the Strut Tower Brace until then. They are $169.99 less 15%

I would be interested in the adjustable panhard bar. You should be able to count me in!

Why would adjustability be needed for the STB? Just to get it centered?
Also does your rear package come with new bolts? Mine are rusty and I would like to have new ones.

Taken from another thread...

Hello Everyone,
There is a few reasons when adjustability can come in handy- We have sold a few hundred of our non-adjustable 4th gen STB's. We have notice on some of the vehicles the shock towers sit inward some and do not allow the brace to go on. The solution is to jack the vehicle up by the k-member to let the suspension relax and then the brace fits. Could this be from aggressive driving? Not sure, possible. Also any vehicle that has been in a collision our brace will not fit, we have had a few get sent back because of this. Thats a few thoughts.
Now here are the reasons WE made it adjustable-
We wanted to make the brace a 3pc item so if you needed to work on the engine you can easily remove the brace with out un-bolting the strut bolts and removing the mounting plates. So it was already going to be a 3pc brace. Now to remove it all you need to do is un-bolt (2) bolts.
Second, since we are tying into the strut bolts and not making the user drill all there own holes each mounting bracket on each vehicle may sit in a different location. It depends on the alignment of the car and if you are using after market strut mounts (which we are working on too) This means each mounting bracket can sit in a different location. A fixed length strut tower brace bolting were we are bolting would not allow you to do this and may not fit correctly on all vehicles.
And lastly, for the good looks
Hope that helps,
Ryan

This is why I love UMI...they seem to just make great parts and a great idea on the STB being 3-piece...I'm ordering mine monday for sure
Supreme Member
Will there be a version of the stb that has the connectoin point on the firewall?
Supreme Member
Thanks arrowcamaro for the info on the adj STB.
Now has anyone bought the rear package? If so, does it come with the bolts and such that would be needed to install it or are we expected to use our old bolts? Like a said a couple posts up... mine are getting pretty rusty.

Thanks for bringing this up Racing Geek. The package deals don't list any hardware Originally Posted by racing geek

I'm in for transcrossmember and probably lcas and panhard for new Iroc.

Yeah I need a trans crossmember, torque arm, k-member, a-arms, LCA's, subframe connectors, and a few other things I will think of soon. Might as well take advantage of the 15% to the fullest!!!

Two orders received, thanks!
Also we got the A-Arms and STB on the site for sale, please see the links. We had to raise the price slightly on the A-Arms..

PLEASE understand there is NO set ship date on the strut tower brace at this time. This item is NEW and in production. Shipping should be approx. 2-3 weeks from the time the GP ends. IF you feel you can not wait on this PLEASE do not order it. I am sorry to be harsh, I am stressing this because I pre-sold one already and it appears they are complaining on our ship time already...
