I have an 87 T/A Red and silver, those were the factory colors. What color reds are used on this model.....or what is the original red used on my car specifically, it's been repainted a couple times before i got it and i'm getting it completely redone and need to know the original color red? PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

It should either be

Flame Red Metallic: paint code 74 - WA 8748

or

Bright Red: paint code 81 - WA 8774

You didn't specifically say whether your car was maroon or red, but these two colors listed above were the colors used in 1987.

 

would this color be listed on the original window sticker? I have that still.......

 

Is there a small sticker inside the center console? There should be, it would say what the color codes are.

 

It might be, but it really boils down to this: if you have a 1987 T/A that was originally painted red.... it will be either a maroon metallic or red in color.

The two codes are posted in my reply above. The maroon is Flame Red Metallic, and the red is Bright Red. The proper codes are above.
