Look at that, you figure could that be an LT? They say it's a 20th anniversary so and it's an 1987 SC Convertible so it's pretty damn rare.

Yeah, those Cameros are pretty rare. Much more rare than camaros.

You'd think that a jackass that knows enough to promote its rarity could spell the damned thing right.

But anyway... yeah, that's an extremely rare car. I've only seen a handful of non-Z28/iroc 87 verts, and certainly none with leather. I don't think that the 87 leather looked like that though... I thought it was mostly cloth with some leather panels. I'd debate the originality of those seats, especially considering that I've never seen GM leather look that good at 60k miles.

That is most definitely 87 leather...I looked at an 87 IROC a year ago with those same seats...

However, it is NOT an LT. LT's had the Berlinetta hubcap or alloy choices carried over from '86...this has normal sport coupe 15s.

Not the rarest, 263 made. But through in the leather and high option level, definetly unusual and low production. Wonder what the reserve is?

i agree...the rims are a dead giveaway...and those are definitely 87 deluxe interior seats, but they might not be original, because the car does not have the 87 deluxe door panels, unless it's a really bad picture....the 87 door panels have ridges across the top half.

oh and does anyone else think that red interior looks like something done by fisher price? Maybe gm took the body by fisher too seriously

The 87 delux door panels have the worlds crappiest glue. The fabric always comes off the board underneath. My car has 40,000 actual and is like this. Those doors are delux, they just don't look like it, mine don't either.

By the way does anyone else think it's sad that that 87 SC vert makes as much horsepower as an 87 IROC convertable with an automatic

That car is a authenthic '87 sport coupe convertible 1 of 263 built, it does'nt have the LT package, those are correct leather seats for the '87 . The side panels on the '87's custom interior have some issues, like labrat said, the fabric seperates from the door panels and the plastic upper panel always cracks. I had my complete custom cloth trim redone in the original material including the door panels. My car is similar to this one, except mine is Dark Red with gray trim with black custom cloth. Chris '87 Convertible 1 of 263
