I bought an 88 Firebird. It said Formula on the door, however the guy I bought it from wasn't really honest with the rest of the car, so I'm not sure if it is a real formula or not. There is no rpo sticker in the console either. Everytime I run the VIN, it comes up as a firebird. Anyways, I haven't been able to get help anywhere else. I just found these pages, They ROCK by the way, so maybe you guys can help. Here is what I got.

1988 Firebird T-top
305 TPI, 5 Speed
BW 9 Bolt 3.45 Posi
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
Originally 16" wheels (The idiot before me changed to 14's)
I'm not sure about the size of the sway bars, But they are pretty fat.

As long as the VIN says its a 305 TPI theres no doubt its a Formula based on what else you stated.

 

The VIN does match the Engine. Thanks for the help! At least I know I didn't get totally ripped off by that jerk!
