Camaro F41 - question.
I saw a older Camaro the other day (I'd say between around 84 - 86) I think. and one the driverside bumper it said F41. And it sure looked like a factory emblem to me. Does this just mean it had that suspension package? since I did a search, and everthing I found talked about that suspension package. Was it a special option.

F41 was for Sport Coupes 1982-1985, I believe. It was an option on the v8 cars.
In 1986 I believe, all v8 Sport Coupes came with F41 standard.
It's a heavy-duty suspension type, I believe.

The "F41" Camaro was an appearance thing. The car had nothing special (base Camaro) with the upgraded suspension. To make the car look like something special, the 'F41' badging was added. I believe this was a Northeast US dealer added badge.
