Rare Car??

Hey I saw this car a couple years ago, and wanted to know if it was rare, or a diamond in the rough. It was a 82-84Z I popped the hood and it had a set up like the 69Z's it had the 2 air cleaners and they were offset kind of like the 69 302. Was this a rare car, or even a custom hook up? I was just wondering cause I m not familiar with the 82-84 motors, I really only know about tpi set ups. Thanks

Sounds like the regular cross fire injection that came in third gen camaros in the early years. No it probably isn't rare.

Not really sure on the specs. A friend of mine has a 83 that my sister owned that had fairly good power. But nothing near a 350 tpi. But they are a pretty good setup, he has like 160,000 beaten miles on it, so its hangin in there pretty good. I'm sure someone here knows the specs on it.

The LU5 engine as it's known is nothing spectacular.

9.5:1, 165 HP@4200 RPM, 240 TQ@2400 RPM

and in 83 it went up to 175 & 250.....
