Basic question
i know this is a really silly question but what is the difference between a iroc and a z28? or are they the same thing? Also how are the RS models differnt from irocs or 28s? Thanks for helping me out on the basics.
Applies to 1986 model, not sure on other years
Z28-- P215/65R-15 seven-by- fifteen wheels
IROC-Z--P245/50VR-16 eight-by-sixteen wheels
Front and rear 16 inch wheels on IROC-Z are not inter changeable.
Front wheels are positioned out quarter inch.
Rear wheels pulled in by eighth of an inch to clear the body
IROC-Z sits more than half-inch lower to the ground for lower center of gravity.
IROC-Z has crossmember called the---wonderbar---- bolted just in front of the anti-sway bar.
Twenty percent more steering effort.
Bilstein shocks added in the rear.
Front shock-absorber valving different
I am sure there is other things
