Hello Everyone

Hello Everyone, I'm an old member here, I quit posting when my wife made me sell my 88 Iroc. I used to post under another name but anyways, I'm ready to own another 3rd gen Camaro. The pic I have posted is a car I'm interested in, here are the stats:
1989 Camaro Iroc-Z
convertible
new top
leather
350 TPI
17" aftermarket Iroc style wheels
lowered
Now the mileage I'm unsure of but the guy is asking $8,000 obo,
what would you guys think the car is worth? I thought about $6,500 but not sure if he will go for it. Thanks for the help guys.

No, I was under the impression that a few convertibles were equiped with 350's, I know I have always heard otherwise but I thought it was an option

He did not say it was origional so I guess it isn't but I'm going to offer him 6,500 or less, car is in good shape and hard to find where I live

Brown383 no thirdgen f-body convertables came from the factory with 350s Yes people did send their 350s cars after they got them to be converted or they swapped a 350 into it.

Seems a little pricey. I guess it would come down to mileage. If it's low then I guess 8K is a good price.

Thanks for the help everyone, but I decided on a different car. Today I bought my first fourth generation car and love it so far. I have always loved third generation cars but I couldn't pass this deal up. If interested here are the stats and a pic.
1996 Trans Am
LT1 350
6-speed
black on black leather
stock for now

Take care everyone and thanks for your help.

The 96 TA has 60K on it, I gave 6k for it. Not a bad deal at all in my opinion. The guy who owned it said that he and his wife needed to focus on other things than a sports car, had to drive two hours one way to get it.

I'd say you got a great deal. Have fun doing a tune-up or modding it.
