L-98, LT-1, and LS-1 History

Car: 1991 Formula
Engine: 350 firebreathing inches of Small Block Chevrolet
Transmission: A 700R4 that has trouble handling the formentioned 350.
L-98, LT-1, and LS-1 History

Now I know that these engines have been the top performers in F-bodies over the last 15 years. But when did they change. Like the L-98 was available 1986 - 1992, LT-1 1993 - 1997, and LS-1 1998 - Present. I am just guessing on these years, so what are the real dates.

off the top of my head those sound right
remember that the Vets got the engines one year before the camaro did.
