Suntour?

Has anyone else picked up the new issue of High performance pontiac? On the cover they have a car called the firebird suntour. After reading the article it seems this was the car they were fooling with when they decided to mae a vert instead. Anyways, i left the mag at home today(damnit) But when i can i will scan pics. Everyone go out and buy that magazine!!!!!


Has anyone else ever heard of this car?

anybody else? I subscribe to HPP, so i read it alot. You should run to your local magazine stand or wherever, and take a look at it!!!!! Tonight, when i get home i will post some more info.

That is a 1 of a kind, per the article. I had never heard of it, but then I'm not Willie or Drew. The article states that ASC was experimenting with the windsheild, wrapping it clear up to the t-tops as an alternative to the convertible.
I like the nose they made for it the most, with the round lights in the corners like the 4th gens. I also liked the wheels it had originally, but as the article states they bent so easily they pulled them off.
Overall it's a decent looking car in my book. Good article as well. That particluar issue of GM HTP has the articles about fixing some of the more common problems in 3rd gens as well. I thought it was worth the cover price.

That car's pretty cool. I dig the front bumper cover with the circular fog lights. Those 17 inch wierd 5 spoke wheels are so 80's, but cool anyway. The interior is really nice, probably the best part of the car. The windshield/roof treatment-I don't know about that, though. Kinda strange, but very cool overall.

I just bought the magazine today at wal-mart. i just saw the third gen car on the front and a section intitled third gen quick fix. didn't realized why that was on the front until i read the article. nice one.
