The 1984 15th Anniversary Trans Am I'm buying is kinda interesting in that it has every single option avilable except locking gas cap and power mirrors.....why would anyone delete freakin power mirrors?

Has anyone ever seen a fully loaded anniversary edition with power mirrors deleted?

 

So has anyone ever seen a fully loaded 82-84 Trans Am with only power mirrors deleted?

 

Well kinda

Lets see, my 84 is only missing Power Mirrors, the power hatch, and the rear wiper. Other wise it has everything else, although it is an LG4 car.

My 83 had just about everything except the power mirrors, it even had the LS interior.

Actually I think i have seen more 82-84's w/o the PM than I have with them, the only one I have seen with them in person was a trashed 15th!

that does sound weird, most of the time when people order a car they just get what they want, and for some reason the person must of missed those two options.. "i want this car with every single option on it but power mirros and locking gas cap" strange but thats what they did

back in the days of new thirdgen's how did someone order the car, did they just sit down and fill a sheet out and circle the options?

 

Well see that's what's wierd, I would have thought that power mirrors was standard with the 15th package and would had to have been deleted specifically. I know the locking gas cap was an option, ok so he didn't want that, he did get the optional subwoofer speaker system, but he deleted power mirrors, it's just strange I think....
