count me in. of the 3 cars pictured below, I have seen one that came extremely close to my grey 85 fb, but not quite. as far as the other 2: since I run an 82 recaro site I've seen many of them that enthusiasts have emailed me about, but never one in person just like mine. as far as the 84 S/E, that's even more rare than my t/a as far as options, combos, etc. I saw one online once that looked sort of similar but not really. There will never be another like it I don't think.

as far as on the internet there are a few like my car (different colors, etc..), so i didnt have to look far/hard.. even though its a low number type of thirdgen formula..

89 Formula Convert
Hi again,

I haven't seen one like mine, but I hear other people I know tell me they thought they saw my car... I'm very skeptical

I do hear there are other 350 auto ASC convertibles from the same year...but just how many, I've no idea and I've yet to see one I can remember

Similar yes, Identical, no.

Ive seen plenty with the same exterior, but I have not seen one with the same wheels and interior colors as mine (all at once). So no ive never seen an identical one.

Well, I'm sure there are hundreds of 85 sport coupes out there but hopefully not with my paint scheme. Which is EXACTLY why I painted it that way!! Guess I'll always be inspired by 60's and 70's G.M. muscle cars.:hail:

My 85 camaro has an unusual black stripe package on it. I once saw a brown camaro with the same stripe package in gold but none of the other F-bodies I have seen had it.

My 83 is black with a beige interior. I have seen a few black Camaros (82-84) that look like it on the exterior but have seen only about three F-bodies with that color interior and their exterior was different. Most of them are tan.

I haven't found a twin for my 86. I have seen many gunmetal grey camaros, but most of them don't have the red interior.

If you ordered T/A in 85 you get the 2 tone paint & GFX as std.

Mine was made all black though. I have never seen another 85 like mine anywhere on the road or on the web.

There are 86's around, 2 that I know of for sure.

It's hard enough finding a '90 GTA as it is, much less an identical one. I saw a '88-89 in person last week that was close but it had tint (which looks awful on a black GTA by the way) and a VW-ish antenna mounted on the roof. Besides, I've got my little rubber antenna (previous owner...) to seperate my car from the rest.

ive never seen another 84 t/a in person except at the salvage yard, and aside from the fact that it a a spray can special black paintjob over the red stock job, it was kinda similar (minus ttops and a few options)

I have never seen another Red 91 TA Convertible. In fact I have never seen any 91-92 TA Convertible in Long Island or NYC area. I have only seen maybe five 91-92 TA's T-Tops. I also have not seen any 89 TTA's.

Well, generally flame red GTA's aren't to popular in my country, esp. with L98 But searching online couldn't find identical, either... In my city (population: ~800.000) there're 20-25 3gens, so it's sure that each one is unique. BTW, do u see this exotic license plate? This is old one, photo was shot while buying 'firePTAK' (ptak=bird)

I normally don't like many of the Camaros, not that they don't look good, just that I prefer Firebirds & Trans Am's. But I have to take a moment to say WOW! That is one impressive car. Keep up the good work. :hail:

I gotta chime in w/ my story

Back when I only had my '86 bird (no TA yet) I parked in the local shopping center to use the ATM. The bank had dark glass windows, the kind that are like a mirror. I'm waiting on line for the ATM looking at the bank when in the windows I see my car rolling past me I turn around really quickly, scared outta my mind, thinking I'm gonna have to run and jump into the car and pull the e-brake. It turns out it was the EXACT clone of my car rolling by (yes, with driver ) It had EVERYTHING, dark red paint w/ the ugly orange and black stripe, and tan on the bottom, same ugly 15" "rally" wheels in gold.

Man, come to think of it, my car was a real PIECE before I got it painted

With my teal 91 RS, I'd see her twins all over the place. 91/92 teal RS's are all over the dern place! As for my yellow IROC, I've only seen one other like it. And that was before I ever bought it. I remember the license plate: COC ROC

come to think of it, ive DRIVEN my cars exact clone, but it was a year before i bought it though.
i found a 92 rs teal 5spd etc
EXACTLY like my current 92 rs (except for the previous owners front end damage)

i almost had bought that one, but they wanted too much for it. the only difference i recall was it had a firebird/ta shifter ****

I believe there's three others on this very website almost identical to mine.... two are T/A's, and one's a Firebird. That's a lot of lookalikes for a vehicle with production numbers under 1500......

In person, I have seen a car just like mine pretty much, except it had the stock rims on it, on the internet I see them a good amount. The car I want though I have never seen in person, and have only seen like 2 on the internet.

Mine's only a Formula, but the TAs with a 350 V8 get my vote! No V6s again for me, unless a turbo TA me thinks!
They all look sweet though! Fun as all hell to drive and every once in a while, an astute admirer comes up to me and says they didn't think they made them back then
I'm always surprised when they notice

It depends on if you are talking about before or after mods. I have never seen an exact replica of my car. I did see one on here that is very close except they had the Iroc wheels their's and mine are the stock Z-28 wheels. So many people on here have changed their cars one way or another so I don't think there are identicals out there. Just my opinion.
