Peter Sessler's Firebird Redbook

Hi all!

I dug this book out of my closet...great asset, but is it definitive for a handy reference? (Motorbooks International/ second edition)

I think it's fantastic, personally, but mine only goes to '97!
For first, second, and 3rd gens...it's just fine, ain't it??

hehe

I also have a copy, 67-97. I think it is OK for a general reference, but I did notice some errors in prod. #'s and a few other mistakes here and there, overall though it is a good quick reference source.

errors!?

Well

In a revised edition I'm surprised that wasn't addressed. Mine must be the same as yours then (97 last year) but let me know if a better one is around, I'll look for it.

Thanks

Bill

The best books I have found so far are:

Pontiac Firebird 1967-2000 Photo History by George W. Scala

And

Pontiac Firebird TransAm 1969-1999 Photo Album by George W. Scala and Wallace Wyss.

These books dont contain all of the specific RPOS but do have accurate prod #'s and details and features on every year and model. And most importantly they dont have any mistakes (atleast I have not found any). I highly recommend them.
