My 91 Formula has "PONTIAC" ingraved into the left headlight cover. A freind of mine has a 88 GTA and his doesnt.

I was wondering what year they started doing that??

If only 91/92 had the engraved pontiac logos....how come mine does...and its not a 91/92. And the previous owner had never been in an accident.......when i got the car......it was on it. Just wondering.....i ran a carfax on it...and it came up with the same thing. Weird......

 

How can carfax verify your headlight fixture? Accidents do happen that don't show up on carfax. If it's not a 91 or 92 then obiously one of the previous owners swapped the headlight fixture and used the incorrect one unless it was intentional....

 

I have it on my 90 Formula, cause i put it on

i just liked the look of that door better than the cheap looking pontiac plastic logo on hte frame.

 

I have an 89 Formula and I like chrome plated logos. I think the old style is just fine.

what u mean by engraved, my use to say pontiac on it but i took it off am i thinking of the same thing here. and mine is a 84
