Im looking to see if anyone here has or has seen a 1990-1992 Firebird Formula with 305 tpi and the 2.73 or 3.08 gear combo, with a factory installed aluminum driveshaft.

My 91 Trans Am had one and it was 305tpi/auto/2.73 and i had seen one a 91 305/auto Formula that a friend had in 98 with an alum d/s. anyone else?

 

My 92 GTA is LB9/A4/2.73/Rear Drum and it has JG1. So was my old 91 GTA...

 

Yeah I had the same combo on a 1990 GTA LB9/auto. It had the aluminum driveshaft(JG1) with 2.73 (GU2 with G80) but had drum brakes(J42) .

 

91 formula 350 3.23 10 bolt posi rear no aluminum ds.
but installed one from my wrecked iroc-z.

 

My '92 Vert has the 305 TPI, 2.73 Posi, Rear Drums and the Alum Driveshaft.

 

It's impossible to find an aluminum shaft at the yards around here. Even in the 4th gens they are all gone.
