I might have found out how we can get pace car seats for our lovely cars.

Well Classic Industries is now carring seats for 3rd gens 82-84 . We might be able to Special order the Pace car seats. But the gal I talked to need to make sure so she was putting a rush pre order form on them.

 

Does that included the seat covers and everything???

I have seen so many "kits" I am not sure what you mean?? When I bought seat covers for my Chevelle, it included all the material for the seats, but you could also purchase the padding separate.

Are we on the same page??

Well they are just starting to get more 3rd gen supplies in. The new catalog is to be shipped out sometime this next week. So watch for it guys.

I called on saturday to order a new catalog from Classic that NOW the charge a $5 for each catalog you order. So Thats when I found out the new ones were coming out. & the possiblity of special ordering the Pace car seats..

Well I received my Classic Industries catalog and there is about every type of seat material in it EXCEPT the 82 Pace Car.

It's the weekest link on my car.

The complete package is a little pricey for me...have to do it by pieces.

I havent been able to get a hold of her I have been busy doing other things.

I just got my new classic industires catalog & they have the whole kit in there (decals) for the whole car for $799.95
& the hood set for 169.95.
you might want to call them & price match they will normally do it.

Actually Tammy,

I talked to Ralph at Stencils & Stripes this morning and he tells me he is the sole supplier of our 82 PC stripes, including to Classic Industries. He said he would work out prices (as in my case) if someone wants most of the kit but the not whole thing.
I am debating after speaking to him to get the kit minus the door, window and pillar decals for $667 shipped.
My paint is very good but the decals have now seen better days.

I will buy the front and rear bumper decals.

Having looked at the Stencil & Stripes website, I think* you have to buy the left side ( as in #19821901) to get the rear bumper. Can't be bought individually. The front bumpers are divided by left and right side, ie: you have to order the L or R side to get the appropriate front bumper side.
Call Ralph at (847) 692-6893 to get details.

Ya Ron I saw that too. It is really stupid when you think about it. My one Pace Car has perfect decals everywhere except the front and rear bumpers (plastic parts). I can't imagine why I would need to buy an entire half (or in this case) the entire set for just a handful of decals....
