yeah 350 and t-tops sounds real.

there were plenty of those made

but $30,500.. that might be pushing it for that mileage.

Wow, it is my irocs twin if those decals were a different color and I had 3000 miles on my car (dreams about the second part of that statement).

I would hope with only 3K original miles that it is #'s matching, they made quite a few of these in 1988 so they are by no means rare. Kudos for the originality and low miles but 30K!!!!!

Nice car, but I can think of a number of other cars I'd buy for $30k. Or a lot more interesting things I could do to my car for $30k. ;-)

maybe he reluctantly put it up for sale or the reason for the high price was to dupe the wife.

Yuck it up! But it's people putting prices like that out there that get other people thinking stuff like, " If his car's worth that much, mines gotta be worth....." that end up contributing to certain vehicles (including yours?) going up in value.

The first year you could get a Camaro with the 350/T-top combo was 87 when they offically sold the 350 Iroc-z

Yes, the 350 was always available in ttop. The vert, however, was not available with the 350 back then.

No way is it worth it........ The car is gorgeous but even with 3000 miles i wouldnt spend more than between 12-14k. Ive even seen nicer trans ams go for around 11,000 and just as clean with almost the same mileage.....

Just say no.
That price must be to spite his wife. Either that or he's toking the reefer, I saw a 1987 Formula 350, w/11 miles on it, not 11k, but 11 miles, never titled, plastic on the seats etc, guy wanted $25,000, but even with that car I still don't think he could get too much more that $20,000 unless the right person comes along.
No way $30K for that IROC!

Didnt in 87 the Irocs with 350's didnt come with ttops? anyway... WOW... thats a hefty price? Maybe the price is in canadian... i think 30k is really 6-7k in US dollars? oh well...

EDIT: ok.. i think im right on the canadian thing... look at the price of these cars!!!! 10,600 for a smashed up 00 Trans AM!! 13K for a 1984 TA!!!!! jesus!!!

Sure a 350 with a T-top is real, i've seen them, but there is no way the car is worth 30 grand. Maybe 12-15 but thats max. Brand new a 1LE camaro was less than 15 grand, so that car is only worth like maybe 10, and thats pushing it. The blue book on our cars is very low, so i know that 30 grand is really pushing it.

bigals87z28, up here there is a Used car dealership selling a 88 IROC Vert, body looks ok, new paint, SHOT grey interior, 305 TPI 208,000 Km's (129,248 miles) for $13,000 , that is just nuts! I've seen others on http://www.canadatrader.com being sold for almost 20K, I know someday our cars will gain in value.. but that this fast.
