Rear window black metal trim
Hello everybody, I want to protect my rear window black metal trim which all 3rd gen f-bodies have. I had one car repainted recently and it was redone, but I want to spray something on and maybe someone on here knows what to do to stop it from rusting, Thank you in advance! Andy

If it's not rusting then the best way to prevent it is to obviously keep it clean and dry but also to wax it. Not only will this repel water and protect the paint, it will also keep it a nice deep balck.
If it already is rusted then I think the only thing to do is to sand and repaint it.
If you really wanted to fix it, I think that POR15 might be an interesting idea to try. www.POR15.com
