Yes, but you'll need a V-8 bellhousing.

i thought that the trans wouldnt bolt up, thats what i was told when i was lookng into putting a 350 in a camaro i had with a 5 spd, u need to post this on the trans/drivetran board or the motor swap boad, or both of them, why are u swapping a 305 in, the power increase isnt very much, id figure there about 160hp and your v6 is 125 hp, if i was u id go for a 30, there a dime a dozen at salvage yards, but to answer the bellhousing question, i can get one around here at a salvage yard for about $5

It depends on the 305. The TPI version has alot more torque and HP than the V-6. The factory TPI 350 doesn't have that much over the 305. But any TPI engine has alot over the V6.

Personally though if you are going to do an engine swap you should get all the cubes you can afford. You'll be glad you did later.

From everything I have heard though the T-5 5Spd doesn't hold up to alot of power. So if your looking to make alot of power you should ditch that as well. Don't forget you'll need alot of things out of a V-8 car to do the swap. You'll need the motor mounts front springs and so fourth.

No one mentioned the V6 T-5 is different then the V8. Different geat ratios and not nearly as strong.
