Found another Formula, what do you guys think?

Well I think i'm selling my Merk, wanted a 5.0 stang for my daily ride till i came across this Formula for sale right down the road here from school. Car is a 305 tpi 5 speed with hedman headers, borla catback, 1.6 roller rockers, panhard rod, control arms, strut brace, 300+ ignition, centerforce clutch, and a 100 shot of Nitrous. Has 76,000 miles on it and he's asking 4,000, but i can buy it for less without the stereo system. I know you can't get a good idea just from looking at a pic, but does this sound like a decent deal considering it would be my daily driver?

That sounds like a great deal considering its a 91 or 92 and has over 1000 dollars worth of mods already done. Just make sure the motor isn't too abused from the nitrous. Thats probably a low 13 second car on the bottle....maybe even high 12's.

Good luck!

Yeah the car is a 91. The guy that is selling it is young, but he is a mechanic and did all of the work himself. He said this is his 4th or 5th 3rd gen, so he must know the cars fairly well. The car went 13.5 on the bald tires that are on there now and a slipping clutch, hense him putting the centerforce in there. He also changed the rear main seal with the clutch. Plus the track that he ran at has a 2 degree incline, which i can't imagine makes a huge difference but i suppose it would at least have some effect. Man i really want this thing, we'll see.

Damn, in california that could easily sell for $6000-$6500 if everything else on the interior and engine bay looks that good.

That's a good deal assuming that nothing is catastrophically wrong with it.

Nice! You might have a hard time which one you want to make the daily driver, the '90 or the '91.

Hope your not going to have to pass a probe exhuast inspection with that thing. I would be cautious about buying a car with NOS on it thats a little odd, something is def. wrong with the car if there are that few miles on it and all those upgrade for that cheap. Last thing 5speed stock drive train + NOS = VERY BAD

Car looks great, seems like a good deal, but I would never, NEVER buy a car someone ran NOS through, unless I expected to have to rebuild something in the near future. Just my .02...
