I have to really thank the Moderators of this board, because I know these posts are really "boarderline" historical, but its the best place I can think to put it for the purpose that it is intended.

I know technically this is not a "Historical" question, BUT! Since I am making the t-shirts I REALLY need to know if the cars are "Historically Accurate" Therefore I chose to let you history buffs tell me what you think, and what needs to be changed before I post them to CafePress...

Here is the 87 Z28 I just got done drawing, what do you think?

John,

Your "picture posts" are as relevant as any others on this board. That's because you're seeking information on originality -- that your pics are technically correct for a specific year, so post away!!

Here's one more front end shot to add to Al's. Talk about a WIDE angle!! BTW, the red "TUNED PORT INJECTION" decal on the front grill was an add-on -- kind of liked the look, but has been removed since this pic was taken.

Thanks. Notice that the decal is "longer" than the typical TPI decal. I wanted it to be as long as the CAMARO, so I very carefully stretched it as I was applying it. A blow dryer is necessary but you gotta watch it because too much hot air makes the decal too pliable. It wasn't easy but it was worth it. That was over five years ago. Since then, I've decided to make my car as original looking as possible (except the wheels), so I removed it.

Speaking of TPI decals IF you look really close to the pic, under the "Z28" Badge on the front fender I actually have "Tumed port Injection" it is so small it would not have mattered what font I used.

I am not really sure what it is suposed to look like, font wise and all...

I took a guess...

On the shirts it will be so small that you probably could not read it anyway. BUT know it is there..

I REALLY apprecaite the emblems, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I really want to avoid making the emblems "Perfect" I just want to make them close...

the reason is for legal purposes, I do not think it is legal for me to make perfectly orignal logos and sell them... Whether or not there on the drawing of a car or not. Its a sticky area, and I am trying to keep away from it best that I can... When your looking at these logos its not really anything big because they are so small, and whenter or not there perfect, no one would really know, unless they looked really close.

thanks tho...
