It does have a notchback which is rare but that special protype with corvette tuned port is crap, well it does have the TPI which is good. You need to send that guy here so he can learn what he really has.
I hate people who mislabel a vehicle and sell the car way overpriced. Your keyboard looks like the ones at work, a dirty cnc machine shop+messy people+me who trys to keep things clean=a diaster in progress :sillylol:

Well whether it has a vette engine or not.
It looks like it is in pretty good condition, and it is a TPI notchback. So depending on the mileage, would 10,000 be too overpriced?
As for the keyboard, the penned in arrows is a nice touch

I am on Dial-up, so at first I thought you just took a picture of your key board, then came back 5 minutes later and noticed the rest of the story. It looks like you dad came in and palmed the keyboard with greasy hands
.
. wait... its a 87... I belive it 100%... the notch is new, and 10k is alot, but by no means is a 87 with a 350 weird... 87 was the first year they dropped the "Corvette" engine into the fbody. thoes rims and notch look suspect. The car definatly has had some playing around with, but that could be a 87 Formy 350...

Its BS, wow i havent been to this board in a while, but heres the story. 1st, clean your damn keyboard thats disgusting, second NOTCHBACK'S ONLY CAME IN 1988 and 1989, AND THEY WERE ONLY NOTCHBACK GTA's. THEY ARE MY FAV, THIRDGEN, OUTSIDE OF THE TTA. The Notch SHOULD HAVE CAME STOCk ON EVERY THIRDGEN FIREBIRD, THEY LOOK REAL SHARP, DONT EVEN BELIEVE THAT AD THOUGH, 88 and 89 and it has to be a GTA

A car exactly like that one sold on Ebay at the time I bought my car. It sold for 3K. There is more than one of those and it's no prototype. It is a Formula Firebird.
10K is a rip off.
BTW that is one of the nastiest keyboards I have ever seen. And I have worked as a computer tech for a long time.

..that same car was on ebay last year listed the exact same way. 1987 had no provisions for a notchback, just check his RPOcodes. He would need AA8 to have the original notchback. The car is not authentic and the seller should be ashamed for asking the price listed. He obviosly is caught up in his own web of deceipt or is BADLY misinformed. Either way the car is not legit.....

to add to this, I think the seats are from a GTA (IE articulating leather bucket seats with power lumbar, ect) You could not get those seats in any car other than a GTA for that year.
Hey 85SportCoupeto89RS (man, you gotta long enough name?
,
I was just at the junk yards here in SoCal, and I found a Camaro with a targa top! I didn't see a name on anything, I just wonder if it's like yours!
It had two pointed rods that went into the front part of the roof (one per side), and two catches at the rear (again, one per side).
The targa top looked to be pretty much a solid peice.
Just letting you know,
George
