Choice: 1988 Firebird Formula or 1967-1970 Dart

Just what the subject says. I own a 1988 Firebird Formula, 305 TPI 5 spd that I bought off my friend for 2500. I spent 500 on work and could easily sell it for 4500 now (logn story) I am considering selling it for a 1967-1970 Dodge Dart and I wanted to check with the bored for there reactions. THats it, thanks!

Ask the Mopar board.
They will tell you the 1988 Firebird Formula is superior....lol

What kind of Dart? a 440 GTS would be cool

Seriously though... just a normal one, or something a little hotter like a Swinger or a Demon 340?

well i dont know enough about them Iguess, What are the different models and so on of the darts

I like the Swingers, and I wouldnt rocket ship it, I would turn it into street rod. Dual quads with tunnel through hood, flamethrower exhast, red underbody, but some injectors in the wheel wells so that i can squirt bleech onto the tires......

any mroe thoughts?

Back in 1986 my parents sold a 70 Swinger with a 318 for $100 Too bad I was only 10 at the time.

300k miles and the car could easily still do 120mph.

I would go for the Dart. I don't see many of them around any more and it would be cool to have something different. If I were you (which I am not), I would jump on that Dart. They can be really fast and look pretty good too. another bonus is you would no longer have to worry about emissions. Go for it!

I would say Formula, But I am partial to GM, and particularly the Formulas

In my opinion old cars are such a PITA to work on.

thanks...

The seats covers were custom made for me but a guy that used to make many of the interiors for concept vehicles back in the 80's and early 90's, he worked for Triad, (near Detroit). The seats basically a factory seat used from 87-92 on the GTA, and optional on the T/A & possibly the Formula, I just had him add the yellow and gray.

As for the center console thats my stock 3rd gen.
