HO engine question
When i run the rpo code for my engine it says 305 HO tpi. Now where does the HO comes from. I didnt think that there were any HO engines avaliable in 1988 but maybe im wrong.

The real 305 HO was used from 83-86 and was RPO L69. The TPI 305 was the LB9. The only V8's used in 88 were the TBI 305 (L03), the TPI 305 (LB9), and the TPI 350 (L98).

Yea, the LB9 was basically an L69 HO engine with a TPI intake on top instead of a 4bbl.
