Hot Rod for those who missed it...

Does this count as F car history?.... if not restoration?
I'd mentioned following this car in HPP before so here are shots from the Hot Rod story for the record...

I'd love to run mine w/o a front plate but the lawmen are picky around here. When I get a new nose, I'm looking for a way to mount the plate to not disturb the clean lines. I prefer it a bit without the paint at the bottom, just a personal preferrence.
Here's another shot of mine I got down to size:

I have that Hot Rod. Very cool car. It's kinda retro with all SLP parts; but it's still fast so who cares.

Yeah, but expensive to put all together. The thing I'd like to see more of though...different approaches getting mainstream press.

I don't recall much from the 80s. During the late 80s/early 1990s I had a subscription to Motor Trend. hehe
