RPO question
RPO question
I know this probably gets asked alot, but I couldn't find my answer after a search. What are the important RPO codes to have on your car? I know the 3rd gen cars are not rare or worth a whole lot right now, but what RPO codes are the least common? How does one go about finding out how many cars were made with the same RPO codes? Thanks in advance.

Rare RPO codes aren't necessarly desirable RPO codes.
I think RPO codes that make a car desirable are usually performance related.
In the case of Camaro some of them would be: Z28, B4Z, B2L, 1LE, B4C, G92, J65, G80, FE2, etc.

so if a camaro has more performance RPO codes, then it is more desirable, therefore, worth more money. I think I understand. Maybe I should get a copy of the camaro white book I hear so much about on this site.

Desireable is up to the purchaser of the car. Personally I think performance codes are the only ones to really look for. WS6, G92, B2L, 1LE, N10, L98 and so on.
Just find a car that has the options you want and the engine you want. I wouldn't worry about RPO codes specifically. If you can find them when your buying a car then it just helps you determine wether or not you are getting the options you want.
