GTA wheels.... Did any other GM cars use these?
The reason I'm asking is because I was reading a book about the history of Lotus earlier and came across this pic of an S1 Lotus Esprit... and thought the wheels looked a little similar.

Those aren't GTA wheels. ARE made several wheels that look like GTA wheels, same with Enkei.
GTA's, Trans Am's, and GNX Grand Nationals are the only cars to use the crosslace 16" wheel known as the GTA wheel.

Thanks for the help Drew and Rob - that was pretty quick with the replies!
As I said I though they looked a little similar, but didn't think they looked the same. I had been wondering just because of GM owning Lotus around that point. Thanks again!

I think some mid-90s GTPs had similar ones... dunno if they were the same though.

Its a very common design, they were just adapted to fit various applications. The Bonnevilles and Grand Prix's used the same design, but the offsets and bolt patterns were different.

The Lotus rims in the pic are ofcorse not GTA rims, BUT they are manufactured by the same comany. My friend has a 1984 Esprit with the same gold crosslace as the GTA but in a 15 inch version with different offsets but same manufacturer.
