Hi all this is my First Post

Just found this board and have a few questions to ask.
First maybee the moderator will read this and answer is there a General Chat area here also a Classified area would be nice.
I own a First Gen F body but have always loved the 3rd Gen Cars.
I am 33 and Grew up with these cars runnin around but they were way to expensive for a High School Student so i bought my 1st Gen and had it ever since. Now that i am more well off financially would like to purchase an F body car or 2 :-).
First Question i am looking to buy a Convertible IROC either an 88 or 89. did they only come in 5.0 or was a 5.7 available.
How many IROC conv were produced in those 2 years.
Also looking for a 88 or 89 IROC coupe with T-tops in Mettalic Garnet Red Color and 5.7 and Auto. I am looking for unmolested cars in the 20-30k mile range what should they run me .

The convertible was only available with the 305.

3761 and 3940 respectively.

These could range anywhere from $6000 - $15000. Obviously, the lower mileaged ones will be higher priced. Is a 20k mile IROC-Z worth $15000, maybe. I would look to spend anywhere from $10k-$13k for a clean original car with lower miles. My car is an 87 with TTops, 5.7, fully loaded and was roughly appraised at $16k at 10k miles.

We have no Non-Tech on TGO. Classifieds are on the main page.

Cool. I hope you find a Third Gen that you really want, I've been looking for a specific one too.
