AC Delete on 82-87 Cars?
I want to remove the AC on my 87 GTA and I noticed that it is just one belt going to it not the serpentine setup my other car has. Can I just take that line out and unbolt the compressor and bracket? I want this to look like it was from the factory...how did they do the AC deletes in these cars?

I put A/C into my 82 LG4.
IIRC, I had a single pulley power steering pump that just ran off the crank.
When I put in A/C, I had to get a dual pulley for the power steering pump as the belt ran from the A/C compressor to the steering pump and crank.
So that would mean that you could just remove that A/C belt and make sure the second belt that goes to the crank is nice and tight.
Come to think of it, I don't have the A/C compressor in right now so that's exactly what I'm doing myself.
Not sure if all the other years are the same for belt setup.

I even have a set of original block-off plates for the vents that came out of a non-A/C 84 'Bird...pretty hard to find.
