Funny or blatantly wrong 3rd gen for sale ads

I forgot whos idea it was for this thread, but here it is! Any 3rd gen ads that just plain don't make sense or are made by people who just have no clue what they own. 350 LG4's, 6 speeds, etc.

This is from one of my other posts, but I'll start with it.

92 Pontiac Trans Am: WS-6, 350 TPI. Last year of 3rd gens. 969 made. Has rare 6-spd manual T-56 trans. Every factory option except t-tops. Upgraded black leather with dual lumbar seats, Edelbrock headers, 3" Hooker exhaust, B&M Ripper shifter, LT-4 clutch, 3.42 posi, NOS kit (uninstalled), dual gauge pod, etc. Many new parts: battery, alternator, rotors, pads, fuel tank, fuel pump. 2 10" subs. Very fast, very clean & dependable. Used as daily driver. $6700 Boston

Sure it's a 6 speed.

Another thing I see a lot of is CAMERO FOR SALE.

Sounds like a 6spd car. Not original, nor should it say rare.

The base model bird that is listed as a Formula always drives me nuts.

This doesn't really fall under History, but...

Now that I think about it, the people selling the car don't know the history of the car, or what it is for that matter..

Keep it sane and we'll keep the thread, for now.

My Z28 was titled as a sedan... isn't that 4 doors? lol if it saved me insurance I'm not complaining!

I've also read about V4s in these cars...

And who can forget the 82-84 Irocs?

The third-eye taillight wasn't typically found on the rear hatch too often was it, that far back? The rear spoiler on T/As.... I haven't6 seen any like that personally.
Mine has a bulge in the trunk, which is modified, being a convertible, but still doesn't seem to compare to others with actual brake lights? It still has me baffled ...along with some other odd items on my car when I bought it.
When it's someone selling someone else's car, mistakes aren't that rare either hehe

holy crap, the best of all worlds! haha. Might as well gave it a 6 speed and Z28 SS options, too.

I hope you are making that one up because I've seen a lot of goofy and inaccurate ads, but never one quite that unbelievable.

There are so many, that this thread will last forever.

Let us not forget the pre 1987 convertibles that are advertised as rare factory stock. I always get a kick out of those.

Not a third gen but i saw a stock 2002 Corvette with a V6 and over 500 hp in an AutoMart. Can't believe that one.

Here is a new one on Ebay right now. 1989 Trans Am Rear Car???as the listing header, but in the description it is a Formula with 350 TPI, the engine pic does not look like TPI to me, more like a 305 TBI, but I am no expert and aparently neither are they.

No one else caught the "Leather seat" option either... Check the pics!

I bet that guy is selling two different cars. A T/A and weakly optioned Formula.
