Were there any Third gen Formulas from the factory with out the Aero spoiler? The obvious answer is no, but I have seen a nice black formula with the standard firebird spoiler. There were no spoiler mounting tabs around the glass. Usually the urethane aero spoiler rots off and is replaced with the base spoiler, but usually when that happens you can see the mounting tabs left around the glass.

 

Well, then either the whole rear hatch was changed or its not a Formula.

 

Either that or its just a base Firebird with Formula wheels and a bulge hood. I've seen that plenty of times too. Its so common to see Firebirds passed off as Formulas ot TA's..especially on Ebay.

 

I love all those "formulas" on ebay with the gfx and base wing.
