A while back we talked about the convertible that I bought from Dave. Turns out he was completely pulling your leg on the car. And also mine. He said he could provide proof of the motor being a 350, I would definitely like to know how. I finally started on restoration and it is a 305 so I did some more checking and the car was originally sold at a dealership in Mass. NOT Vegas like he said. And if he sent a pic of it with a tpi on it chances are it wasn't the same car because there is no power plugs for the injectors to be found.

 

Did you obtain an invoice or the window sticker?

I find it difficult to believe that Dave would lie about his own car. Did you know he's a minister?

The car was originally equipped with a 305 LG4. That's because it's an automatic. This is the only engine available with the auto.

 

I checked carfax and got the entire history on it and for the motor I checked the block. I don't know why he would lie either maybe that is what he was told I don't know. But it seems kind of funny that it was originally titled in his home state???
