89 formula??

How rare is an 89 Firebird Formula, WS6, with T-5 and T-tops, TPI 305, power everthing minus seats. Just wondering if I should keep the 9bolt it came with or leave in the 10 bolt for now.

ALL 87-92 Formuals were WS6

The T-5 with TPI seems to be more uncommon than the 350 Auto combo. I have an 87 that is that same setup.

The 9 bolt is a stronger axel, but parts are more uncommon. the 10 bolts are a good axel (even tho some will argue), they used them in 4th gens so they cant be all that bad.

1989 was the most common year for the Formula, there was 16,670 produced, when you consider that almost 1/3 of 3rd gen formulas were made in 1989... well anyway.

yeah you don't see too many formulas out there but when you do they tend to be just like mine an 89.

If you follow the link www.3rdgenformula.com you might find out more info than you will need, but I have alot of interesting stuff there anyway. I have some production numbers etc.

Nice site foz, but you need to delete the comma from your link to make it work.
