good place to restore 88 formula rims
I thinking about getting my wheel redone if the price was decent but I would like a set of Convo pros (15X8 1/2 and 15X4) The price to have them redone will make the choice easier
I'm having my IROC rims refurbished by a place in St. Louis. According to my local Chevy dealer, who will be shipping the rims for me, it's approximately $150 per rim to return them to brand-new condition. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you some contact info.

I'd like some more info on getting the stock 16" rims rehabed. I just bought a '89 Formula which I plan to do a major, ground up restore project with. I have always loved the '88-'92 Formula 16" rims and plan on keeping them. So it would be really nice if I could get them restored to "like new".
You can post the contact info here or e-mail it to me at tripstermania@comcast.net
I would give anything if them rims were avaliable in 17" or 18" sizes. I have seen some "knock-off" honeycomb rims in 18" before but never the Formula ones.
Thanks, Bobby

here is what I would try:
Try salvage yards, sometimes they have connections to where to refurbish rims.
Try dealerships, or used rim/tire places, they might have connections.

This is Transwheels site, they do superb work and may have a set in stock to exchange. They run about $125-150 per wheel. I think you can still shop online...
