RPO Codes

Hello,

I'm new to this board and I'm new to the F-Body community. I just recently bought a 1982 Trans Am Special Edition. My question is about the RPO codes. As far as I know they were located on the underside of the console lid, however they weren't there on this vehicle. I asked the owner if he knew where they were and he thought they should be there also. He said he saw them somewhere but couldn't find them. I don't know if they were removed at some point or if they are in a different location. If they are nowhere to be found is it possible to find out the RPO codes from Pontiac? Is it possible to get a repo RPO sheet? I really need to know what options are on this car.

Thanks

On the 1982 models it was known as a "Body Number Plate" and it was a metal plate attached to the front tie bar behind the left headlight in the engine compartment.
