Canvas Ttop replacements

I was browsing an old Sears catalog and in the automotive section I found a listing for canvas Ttops. They replace the factory glass/plastic ttops exactly but they're canvas and come with their own carrying bag.

Has anyone seen these or does anyone have a set of these around or know where they can be obtained?

Well, it isn't any different than having a convertible.

Drew,

Does the catalog have a picture of these things?

I did a little seaching, and the only thing I found was a site that mentioned canvas T-top covers that you could put on your car quickly if you were going into a store and you thought it might rain. The link didn't work however.

Those sound really different, never seen or heard of them... call Sears, give them the part Number see what they come up with... they might have the company name that made them originally somewhere...

As if anyones going to steal a junk thirdgen anyway... besides that thirdgens are damn near the easiest cars in the world to steal already. Oh yeah, and there's that artical that tells exactly how to steal one in minutes. Honestly, if someone wanted to steal any one of my cars, they could probably just as easily unscrew the antenna and shatter a window with it as bring a knife with them and cut a canvas ttop.

But anyway...

Yes there were pics, but not very clear. Maybe I'll scan them if I get a chance.
