you kno whats funny, when i was vacuumin my car today under my seats there still plastic wrappin from the dealership
That car is about worthless right now. The entire body and interior are brand new, but the mechanicals have got to be shot. A car that sits this long won't hold up very well when it is started!
I saw a 28 mile 1980 Z28 in Minneapolis a couple years ago. The owner was a jerk and said that he bought the car, drove it home, put it up on blocks all because he could. He was trying to sell the car for $30k. I took alot of pics, but I can assure you, the car will cost more than $30k to get mechanically sound.

Dude, whether it runs or not is not the point. The point it to have a 100% original car to be used for historical reference and display.
Only a complete dumbass would buy a car that low milage to drive. Besides once you start replacing things it's not original anymore.

I agree with the above statements, but like I said, the guy was a jerk and did this because he could. The car was sitting on blocks in an unheated, uninsulated garage in Minneapolis and looked silver from the amount of dust on it. The cars actual color was black. In MN, you can't put a car up like that in an uncontrolled environment. The garage temps could get down to 10* in the winter and up to 100* in the summer. At least the 82 appears to be in a controlled environment. My car had plenty of dry rot issues at 6k miles and it was stored in a heated garage!
I also agree with the others that say that a car is to be driven. Why own a car if you never drive it to enjoy. That's what makes a Camaro so great to own.

I'd have to take a middle of the road stance.
Although I believe these cars (or all cars) are meant to be driven, I can't help but be thankful for those that have stashed it away. It is those cars that show up in magazines for all to see so we can get our own restored projects correct with the correct plating on the hood latch, paint inspection marks, etc.
There are a few who take the expensive route of doing the restoration and then drive it. But they seem to have bookoo bucks as they are constantly replating or refinishing parts.
