Build question
Well, I've looked through all of the threads I think and haven't come up with anything. Like most people, I'm trying to find build numbers for my 91Z28. It's a 350 car but it has drum brakes and no options. No cruise, power windows, locks, nothing. I've only seen optioned out 91 or 92 cars, never a stripped one from the factory that wasn't a 1LE or a B4C car. Any ideas?

you will never find the details you are looking for, gm didn't keep detailed records of there vehicles.
i'd say someone went and bought a z but didn't have a ton of cash so they got it bare bones.
its not a special optioned car or anything, its just someone who didn't want a loaded camaro

Look at your RPO label and see if you have 1AY or 1AZ. 1AY=a dealer ordered car, 1AZ=a customer ordered car. I'm willing to bet you have 1AZ. It is odd to find a bare bones Z28.
But as far as finding out how many Z28's were built like yours GM doesn't go that deep into the option combination count.

Where can I find these codes?
Thanks,

On your car, probably in the locked compartment on the drivers side rear hatch. The label has all the codes associated with the options on your car. If it's not there, then it could be in the center console. If it's not in either place, you'll need to see a dealer parts dept with your VIN and they might be able to get the RPOs for you.
