The 305 TPI was not offered with the T-5, until 1987.

Makes no difference if it is a Pontiac or a Chevy, my previous answer still stands, look it up.

Not offered until 1987.

You can find how many were t-tops. You can find how many had the T-5, and you can find how many had the LB9, but you can't find how many had all three. GM didn't keep records that way. So for as much as it sucks you will never get an answer to your question.

I would imagine Camros were similar, but here are some figures I have for Firebirds. (Sorry you dont like Firebirds, your loss)

1987:
V6 LB8 34,914
5.0L LG4 25,960

A4: 77,251
M5 11,336

1988
V6 LB8 22,056
5.0L LO3 19,227
5.0L LB9 10,379
5.7L B2L 10,793

A4 53,211
M5 9,244

1989
V6 LB8 24,968
5.0L L03 18,362
5.0L LB9 6,478
5.7L B2L 13,041

A4 55,297

Kinda the same way I feel about T-Tops!

Seriously though... the search for a 5.0 TPI / T-5 car is worth the effort. My current car is the fourth 3rd Gen that I've owned and it is by far the most enjoyable to drive. My previous three were 305 and 350 auto TPIs.

Good Luck.

Look for any ttop 5 speed car. Sure the TPI is nice, but you can always swap the TPI if you really want it.. or better yet, get a bigger motor .
