dont you just hate idiots who destroy nice cars

A few months back I saw a black and gold 85 z28 ,t-tops black interior L69 5 speed,t-tops very nice shape a few minor rusty areas from sitting.I inquired about thsi car to the mechanic in the building and he said the guy dropped it off to get fixed after sitting in his driveway for 4 years. The gas lines were rotten and it had a oil leak and needed the obvious tune-up and brake work.I never got a call back for this car.I rolled around back today only to find the car stripped to the shell and laying on the ground.Everything was gone exept for a few odds and ends.I went in and the same moron was in the office I had asked what he was doing with the rest of the cars since i wanted to buy the floor pans and possibly the rear axle.He told me MAYBE it was for sale and that he would have to contact the owner.I gave him my number for the second time this year well see if he calls back.I also reminded him that i had wanted to buy the car awile back but he never got back to me,he shurgged it off and told me he would get back to me.

85 L69S are kinda rare correct? well theres one less out there thanks to this assclown.

I think there were about 2000 made that year. Not sure exactly though.

People suck. But, there also might be other reasons for the non-sale. Stolen car, no title, whatever.

If it sat in his driveway for 4 years I would bet that he don't have the title. Just like AAron says!

Never strip a car that only needs minor work issues, hell, just look at all the no reserve eBay car auctions!
I got a great car for $510 (88 Deville sim-con with 116K)...it needs a new transaxle for around $1300 est work, and rear door bodywork, headliner and frnt bumper, certainly no boneyard turkey though
