ugh , ive never heard of a factory one , but thats a pretty cool one , not as good as my passports but it should get the job done if their just using radar.

when I looked them up, I didn't see anything in your RPO codes for "factory installed radar detector that replaces the ashtray in front of the shifter and below the radio" option.....

Radar Detector
That must be a remote system with the rest of it in the grill or out front somewhere. I worked for Fox Radar Detectors from 85-90 and we manufactured some of those remote units. Some worked great and others were turds. Just depended on who tuned them.
The best one I had was a Micro-Fox, I tuned that one myself. Some dumb*** ripped it off after I quit the company. It might have been dealer installed but I doubt it. I bet some Stereo installation place put it in.
