Did all thirdgens come with undercoating in the wheel wells and underneath the car? Seems like mine has ton of it! Its all lumpy and cruddy looking. Do they come like this from the factory?

 

Well,all of the IROCs and T/As i have owned has had the undercoating.

 

Well, some dumbass at the dealership where I purchased my car new (factory ordered) went hogwild with that crap. My instructions to the salesman was not to undercoat it. Apparently he didn't communicate that to the imbecile in the shop...

 

There should be some undercoating in the front and rear wheel wells but thats it. The underbody should mostly be body color(single stage) or gray primer with body color overspray around the edges(base/clear).

 

Either I never had it, or it all fell off.

 

They all had the wheelwells done. Anything more and it was done by a previous owner or dealership.
