Dual snorkel

Few months ago I bought a dual snorkel aircleaner on ebay. It didnt include the hoses and scoops but I did not worry about that because I was planning on making my own setup. But I have changed my mind, now I want the OEM setup.

So where can I buy those things? I contacted Classicindustries but they coulnt help me. I would prefer to do my business to a company wich sells online because I am in Iceland and cant pick it up (well, I probably can but thats much to expensive ).

We have two GM dealers over here, one only serves Opel and Izusu and the other has only Korean made Chevys

Thanks, Jon H.

I may be wrong but I thought only a 305s got the duel snorkel, and a carb, but that air cleaner says 5.7? Or did some trucks use that setup?

i don't think there was a dual snorkel air cleaner that cam on a 350 camaro engine (82-92 of course)....it was probbaly re-labeled or from another car, nonetheless i'm sure it still fits fine...this is mine[IMG][/IMG]

That air cleaner decal is actually from the 350HO conversion package from GM that was offered a few years back.

Yes, the decal is a separate deal... I got one on Ebay for my air cleaner.

The stock dual snorkel set up is no longer available through the dealer. GM stopped making them 2 or 3 years ago. Keep checking ebay. Sometimes they come available.

gmpartsdirect.com still has the passenger flex duct. Part# 14083990. It will work on either side. I bought 2 of them for my factory dual snorkel about a year ago and put one on the right and one on the left.

Thanks. I contacted gmpartsdirect.com few months ago but they where not willing to ship outside of USA. I sent them another mail today and asked them if they are willing to sell it to me and send it to New York. A friend has a company in NY wich can send the parts to me.

I looked at the ramairbox site today and the listed the scoops at $17 each. I was really happy and sent them mail. They are willing to send it to Iceland but now the original costs $58 (each) and fiberglass reproduction costs $42 (each). I guess there is huge inflation in US right now

I know its perhaps not that much (its penuts compared to what I have spent on this car) but I feel they are taking advange of me. Do those prices seem alright to you?

thanks, Nonni
