Why didnt the Z/28 get a 5.7

Car: 86 sports coupe-83 berlinetta
Engine: 5.0 in the sports coupe-350 in the berlinetta
Transmission: 700r4 in the sports coupe-turbo-350 with a 2500 stal in the berlinetta
Why didnt the Z/28 get a 5.7
For the 87 model yr? Why know optional 16 inch wheel? The trans Am had an optional 5.7 and 16 inch wheels.

I didn't think that the Trans Am could get the 5.7 since the GTA came standard with it. I know the 16" wheels are an option, but not the engine, I could be mistaken though. The 350 was an option on the Formula
