Well, that's cool. I just purchased it for 3,400.00. It's hard to fine info on this car. I would have thought there would have been more websites on the MSE cars.
Thanks for the response.

Gret car, great price. The ground effects look like the ones on the 83 Daytona Car.

The 103 on the spoiler, I dont think MSE put that there. Do you have the dash plaque?

The number should be on the spoiler. Picture of inside the car.

Maybe try to get ahold of Mecham. Buddy of mine has a 79 Macho TA and he called him back in the early 90's. Said he could get anything he wanted for the car.

Do a search for him or both Dennis and Kyle, info should be out there since they made a 4th gen also.

Drove the car home Sunday with no problems. Car drive great. Also called Dennis Tuesday to get some new decals. All paperwork was still in great shape also. This car cost 20,000.00 New in 1983 and the person I got it from paid 13,000.00 in 1986.

I was watching that auction also, from the looks of that car I would say the odometer has rolled. Must be 146,000 miles, but very restoreable.

I don't think it has 146,000 miles. The car set for 12year and no one drove it. There isn't any rust at all under the car or in the fender wells, not even starting to rust. The only problem with the seats is the bottom of the drivers seat. Passenger and back seats are mint. The car drives like new no raddles or noises. Carpet is great and under the hood is all orginal, no rust.

If it is 46,000 miles than that's great! Mine has 70,000 on it now. The guy I bought mine from had owned it since '85. Mine is also red and silver #53-R(recaro seats). Welcome to the MSE club!!

This is the paperwork you got from MSE Motor Sports when getting the car new. It details what the car got as you had options.

The engine mods were not listed in the paperwork as that would void the factory warranty.
