I dont think i will ever part with my car. I know its not a z28 but still its a commerative edition that symbolized the end of a legacy. I just need to get it into a garage!!!

Anyway, i am very interested to hear what is happening with this documentation about the last z!!!

I PM'd Aaron to ask about any info he might have. This is going to take time and personal time is valuable. Hopefully, we'll be able to get started on this soon.

well, I didnt see the car, but if its like any other 3rd gen, it should be in a museum, next to a 1LE, Firehawk ...

Obviously the right time to show it .. but would you drive the last 3rd gen on the street like any other ?

it wasnt a scam, that car would be worth it to a collector. the last third gen that was made and signed by everyone in the plant before they closed down. i would buy it if i had money. the guy who had it up for sale is on this message board.

Is anybody in Leonard's area willing to help us get this piece of history documented on TGO? It's been a long time since he's agreed to help us. All documentation and pictures have been offered up to us if we can just take the time to get it. Thanks for your offer Leonard, but I guess this piece of history isn't needed on the ONLY 3rd gen technical website in all of Internetville! If I lived anywhere near you, I'd have gotten everything I could for my own files.

Scott, I'm near Leonard's area and have met Leonard. I had volunteered in the past and I'm still willing to do so. I have been waiting for Leonard to let me know the best time. I think he has been busy and I don't want to be pushy.

Sorry Leonard, I've been out of state all week and will return in a few days. I had sent you an email before I left, did you receive it? I'm still willing to help.

JT, I did not get your e-mail. I'll be out of town the next two weeks on business so maybe we can try something after that.

I remember watching it on the news roll off the assembly line. I believe it was red with black power hood domes. And I do remember them saying it was signed by all the employees all over the car. Worth it?? maybe considering a 91 1LE just sold at Barrett-Jackson for $40k.

I'm still ready to help with whatever video footage Leonard has of the car.
I can also scan some very high res. images if need be.

40K, DAMN.
Was there anything special about the car other than 1LE or was it bone stock? What was the mileage? Was it sold in this auction that just passed?

78 original miles. The owner and the salesman who sold the car were also present at the auction.
