question about car fax
If you run a car fax does it give the names of previous owners? I'm trying to get a lien off my title and the bank needs the original owners name to look it up. Thanks, Mike

nope no names, just shows how many owners based on the dates that the car was registered under a new name
1st owner - registration date
2nd owner - date
etc.
1st owner - registration date
2nd owner - date
etc.

It should be on the title if there is a lein on it.
Your DMV should be able to help you out, as they are the reporting party as per leins.
