I picked up a TPI iroc today and the kid swears up and down it is a 350. I jsut want to make sure, but the vin decoder is down right now. vin is:

1G1FP2181JL186064


I was tryi9ng to see where that vin goes different from my 305 TPI car and it changers after the fp21

 

Yes it it/was a 350 tpi from the factory.

 

Do you know if it has a 9 or 10 bolt rear and what rear gears it has?

P - Camaro (Z28/IROC) in this case
2 - Hard top or T-top (Hatchback)
1 - Manual Belts
8 - L98 350
1 - Check Diget
J - 1988
L - Van Nuys Califorina Assy Plant
1 - Chevrolet
86064 - Production sequense (is the 86,064th Camaro made in 1988)

Thats all you can get from it. You need the SPID sheet for anything else. SPID Might be had thru a Chevy dealer if you take them the VIn. then you get the RPO's

ok, thank you guys very much. I work at a chevy dealership so I will see what I can do as far as RPO etc etc. I will let you guys know what I find out
